You have Q's, We have A's

Q: Do I need an appointment to see your gowns?

Yes! We have worked hard on creating the ultimate experience to ease the journey of finding your perfect dress. What we love most about this experience is giving the entire space to you and your party to browse our gowns and try on! This requires an appointment to ensure you get your full 90 minutes without interruption.

Q: How many of my loved ones can I bring with me to my appointment?

When it comes to selecting your entourage for the bryde experience, we have a simple phrase: You. Do. YOU. If you're the bryde who likes the idea of finding her dream dress alone or with very few, do YOU! If you have a larger crew, by all means bring them along! We have seating available for up to 5 guests in the bridal lounge.

Q: When should I book my appointment?

Because our unique gowns are made individually for each bryde by their designer, we recommend booking an appointment 8-10 months before your wedding day. Purchasing your dress any later than 6 months before the big day may leave you subject to rush fees, which vary by designer. Don't have a date set? No problem! As long as you're planning for the allotted time mentioned above, you really can't get your gown too early ;).

Q: How many dresses should I try on?

First of all, let yourself breathe and know that finding a wedding dress is a process and if there's anything we know about processes, everybody's is different. Just beacuase your cousin's dress was the very first dress that they tried on, doesn't mean that you have to pressure yourself to follow suit. Some brydes find their dress on the first stop and some don't, and either one is okay! Our general advice is if you feel ready to "say yes" then go for it and if you don't, wait until you feel confident to make that decision.

We recommend that most brydes visit 2 shops, sometimes 3 if you like options, and save the shop you're most excited for your final visit. You'll have your previous favorites fresh on your mind, but you'llk feel like you've tried enough options if you happen to find your dream dress :)

Q: What is the price range of your gowns?

Dresses at Bryde will start at $2,000 and go up from there! A majority of our gowns range from $2,200 - $3,000 with the remaining gowns priced between $3,000 - $4,000.

Q: My wedding is in a few months, but I REALLY want a gown from Bryde! Is there a way I can get my dress on shorter notice?

If there's a will, there's a way! Many of our dresses can be ordered with a quick turnaround. Depending on designer, rush orders will incur an additional fee. There will also be occasions where we sell our floor samples (sometimes at a discount)!

Q: What type of gowns do you have?

There are so many different types of gowns probably because there are so many different types of brydes. Bryde predominantly specializes in a-lines and modern mermaids.

If you are envisioning a ballgown or trumpet shaped dress for your wedding day, find YOUR vision, but at the same time we don't want to give false hope or set expectations.

We carry very few ballgowns and have 1-2 trumpet gowns so while we would love to have you as a bryde, we want to value your time and we might not be the shop for finding your dream dress.

Q: What sizes do you offer?

At this time, most of our samples range from size 8 - 14 with an increasing number of gowns available to try in size 18 - 20.

Most of our designers have the ability to make gowns from a size 0 - 24 and a few offer sizes up to 30. If you are outside of the sample size range that we offer, we always do our best to adjust the gowns to give you the best indication of how they will fit when they are made just for you, in your size.

Our goal is to make each and every bryde who walks through our doors feel as comfortable as possible and we are constantly expanding our sample size selection as we grow.

Q: Do you provide alterations?

Each and every gown at Bryde is made to order. This means that when you say yes to your dream dress with us, we take your measurements and send them to the designer, where they custom make your gown to best suit your size requirements! How cool is that? Though this process will reduce potential alterations significantly, we still recommend you take your gown to a tailor to get the ultimate fit.

Q: How can I prepare for my appointment?

This is the fun part! Please arrive at your appointment with nude, seamless undergarments (or whatever you would like to wear underneath your gown). If you'd like to bring with you a shoe option or two that will provide the ideal height you would wear on your wedding day. We are all for you getting glam for your Bryde experience, however, we kindly ask that you apply makeup from the chin up to ensure our samples are in tip top shape for Brydes to be!

Q: Is your shop kid friendly?

We love little ones! However, we have learned with experience that our gowns, furniture, and fixtures are not kid-friendly, and the presence of children (with exception of non-mobile babies) can take away from the focus being entirely on the bryde during her appointment, which is what we're all about! We kindly ask that you do not bring any small children to your appointment. We do understand that there can be special circumstances. We ask that you contact us beforehand so we can do our best to accommodate you. :)
